  1. That “good kind of sick feeling” is a sure sign of success. You made it to the terminus. You are at the top of the roller coaster… Hold on for the ride of your life Girl. It’s gonna get wild!

Oh wait, that’s been done already. It’s gonna get….”interesting” to say the least.

Remember to remember me when you need songs for around the campfire for the movie!

As always With a smile back at you Lyndella

    1. Thank you Lyndella! Your words mean a lot to me. Thank you for your unwavering support and kindness! If there’s a movie we better all be in it!! Haha! 💕

  2. How wonderful! So glad you gave us a video. It was heartwarming and made me so happy. It also had a few lessons on life, such as determination and belief in yourself. Can’t wait to hear about the next step, and finally the printed version. Sending you good luck and love. Donna

    1. Aww Donna!! I was thinking about you when I sent this update! I wish I could have been sitting at your dining room table telling you face to face! Thank you so much for your supportive words and constant encouragement! If this book is completely done by the next time I see you, I’ll have to start working on the sequel!! Love and miss you! 💕

  3. To get the book to this stage a wonderful accomplishment. Well, done!

Your video was very enjoyable to watch. I really admire your determination in writing the book and can’t wait to read it.

The way you have carved out a wonderful life for yourself and are sharing it with other people is truly inspirational

    1. You never fail to fill my cup to the brim with your notes of support, Neville! Thank you so much for watching and celebrating this moment with me. It still feels a little premature, but if we don’t celebrate milestones along the way, they so easily get overlooked. Thanks for taking the time to reach out! I can’t wait to share this story with you!

  4. Hi darling, Wow, it has been a very long road which was not easy and straight. It had a lot of side ways and even some roundabouts – which road to take?? Editing, sweat and tears, not seeing the end clearly. What makes it all happen? Your Determination, which has given your life already an extra ordinary accomplishment and now with the last steps for finishing the book, it will be such a great feeling and to achieve this at the end. I am so proud of you and can’t wait to reading it. Success with the last steps.

    Love you, Mutti xx

    1. What a beautiful message, Mutti! You have captured it all in such a poetic way. The road has been long, much longer than I ever expected when I started this project back in 2014. I’m glad I had no idea what was in store… much like life. So many ups and downs and everything in-between! What a journey. I look forward to sharing this with you and thank you for your continued support in everything I do! Love you heaps xo 💞

  5. Muk Muk, Oh how I miss your silly and interesting videos. The journey to reach the finish line with this book is much like your experience on the PCT. I’m sure you learned may lessons on the PCT you applied to the process of birthing a book. If either were easy everyone would be doing them. Although I’m sure you’d love this memoir/story to become a best seller, the reward ultimately will be completion of something really really hard. I’m pulling for you and wishing you much success.

    1. Jan!! Your message makes me smile so much! This stage reminds me of the day in Washington about 200 miles from the end when I had a sudden realization of just how far I had walked. This video was the writing version of that moment. I’m not quite at the end but so close I know the end is in sight. I can’t wait to share this story with you, especially as you appear in it lol! Thank you for all your incredible support both on and off the trail and for being a foundational part of my trail family! Much love! 💕

      1. Oh how I remember your determination at the end. Sure I’ve never used snowshoes but I’ll figure it out. When everyone else is quitting you said I’m going to try because I really want to finish. I’m an Aussie I can do it!

BTW I often feel the same way about my blog. I can’t believe I’ve been writing for so many years and still find reward in the process.

        Sending patience and more patience!

      2. I’ve never known anyone to love and appreciate nature more than you, Jan! Your blog and photos are a reminder to pause and appreciate the beauty that surrounds us! Thank you for sharing your passion. It’s contagious! 💗

    1. Aww thanks Pac Man!! I feel like I’ve spent so much time with you in the book these past few weeks!! LOL! It’s so weird to relive the experience so many times, but I always enjoy reliving my scenes with you! 😍
