I completed a 7-day ~450 km bike-packing tour through the dutch provinces of Friesland, Groningen, Drenthe and Overijssel. You can access my post here.
To plan my route I used a website called Knooppunten (https://www.knooppunten.nl/fietsen/planner).
I then exported the GPX route into the Komoot app. I paid around $30 for the European maps so I could use them offline and save my battery power and data. You can navigate in aeroplane mode, which is very helpful.

ACCOMODATION
I used the Campspace app to find camping options on people’s farms and backyards along the route. I started my trip in late September, so many of the smaller campsites in towns were already closed. If I were to do this again, I would go a little earlier, ride until I only had 30-60 minutes of juice left in me, and then search for a local campsite nearby. The Campspace app took me a little off route, but it introduced me to some very interesting people.
Day 1: Camping at the farm on the Dokkumer Ee.
Day 2: Campsite near river and Frisian nature park
Day 3: Naturist camping in edible fruit garden
Day 4: Minicamping De Eikenzoom
Day 5 I stayed with my cousin in Oldenzaal, and Day 6 I stayed with a cousin in Hattem.
